Virtual Assisting 101

I once went to an oral surgeon for a small procedure and while waiting I filled out the required paperwork for the practice. In the occupation section I put that I was a virtual assistant. When the oral surgeon came into the room he asked me, “What the heck is a virtual assistant, and how can you help me?”

We worked together for several years.

A virtual assistant is a person who works from a home office for clients in remote locations, those clients can be anywhere in the world. They provide a vast array of services such as word processing, telephone answering, event planning, calendar management, social media management, and so on.

Here you’re going to find information about virtual assisting, where to find training, what associations are available to join, certifications, tips and tricks, and more.

THIS IS NOT A JOB SEARCH PORTAL.

If you’re interested in becoming a virtual assistant this is the place for you.
